# Text Chat (In-Game)

The Server allows it's players to use the **"In-Game Text Chat"** however, there are certain rules to make sure that no issues or problems arise from it's usage. Make sure that you are not clogging it, text-chat in-game is **OOC (Out of Character) ONLY!**

{% hint style="danger" %}
Using **"OOC"** Text-Chat In-Game could potentially be **META-GAMING!**
{% endhint %}

You **SHOULD** simply try to avoid using Text-Chat (T-Chat) unless it's for:

{% hint style="success" %}
**1)** Asking or Requesting a Staff Member \
**2)** Asking other players a Reasonable Question \
**3)** Announcing an Event (Staff Related) \
\
\- Preferably Use **IN-CHARACTER APPLICATIONS (e.g. Twitter, YellowPage Ads)** to announce Business's Opening **(e.g. Dunkin Donuts OPEN)** as it doesn't make sense for it to be in **T-CHAT**
{% endhint %}

**HOWEVER,** there are certain things that you **CANNOT** do in **T-CHAT (OOC CHAT)** such as:

{% hint style="danger" %}
**1)** Starting or Instigating an Argument \
**2)** Toxicity Between Player(s) or Gangs \
**3)** Harassment & General Toxicity \
**4)** Meta-Gaming Events & Information \
\
     **-** Failure to follow this would result in a **1 day ban automatic!**
{% endhint %}
