Write-Up Codes
Code 1: Cadet/ Recruit & Police Officer/ Trooper
General Knowledge All officers should treat each other with respect at all times. Do not disrespect supervisors or other officers. Always follow the Chain of Command through the ranks with questions or concerns. Always despawn personal vehicles when in game Do not interrupt briefings. Always tell the truth, do not lie or alter the truth during reports or on patrol.
Code 2: Police Supervisor
Supervisor Responsibilities Follow all aspects of the supervisor document. Treat all ranks with respect at all times. Take the position of primary officer and correctly manage all major scenes. Properly mark all activity and ride alongs during briefing and RP. Properly train all units
Code 3: Equipment Code
Weapon Loadout Only use weapons within rank. Have proper livery/attachments for firearms. Always use weapons in a safe manner to protect fellow officers and the public. Cadets may never use a firearm without permission from their 10-12.
Equipment Loadout Only use equipment listed in the equipment section. Use equipment correctly and responsibly at all times. Keep track of all equipment and keep it in a usable state. Any loss or damage to equipment must be reported to a supervisor.
Code 4: Uniform & Vehicle Code
Uniforms Always wear the correct uniform while on patrol and in trainings. Keep clothing in a clean and professional state. No face tattoos, hand tattoos, neck tattoos, face paint.
Vehicles Only drive vehicles within your rank. Never drive Code 2 or Code 3 without a valid reason. Always follow traffic laws and drive in a safe manner. Never drive vehicles on terrain that they can not handle. Any vehicle accidents must be reported to a supervisor. Cadets may never drive vehicles unless given permission from Captain or higher. Never drive vehicles on oncoming lanes of roadways. Never drive damaged vehicles, must repair if needed.
Code 5: Public Relations Code
Respect Respect all citizens, even if they don’t have respect for you. Treat all citizens equally, no matter the gender, race, or religion. Never intentionally place a citizen in fear or harm. Do not swear, make inappropriate gestures, or road rage at/with civilians. Never threaten civilians for no reason. If a citizen requests for a supervisor you are required to call for a 10-71.
Use of Force Only use lethal force if a suspect has put an officer's life or general public at risk. Only taze or subdue a suspect if they are uncooperative after 3 verbal warnings. Never taze a suspect when in handcuffs, in a vehicle, or in water (excluding rain). Never use hand to hand combat unless all weapons are unusable. Use medical masks to cover someone’s mouth who may spit or vomit.
Code 6: Radio Code
Using Radio Try your best to use the correct 10 Codes at all times. Never use inappropriate language over the radio. Try your best to use the correct Police Phonetic Alphabet at all times. Always follow Signal 100 & 10-3 protocol. Keep all radio transmissions 15sec or less Make proper callouts on Radio pertaining to your current scene/scenario. Ensure to use channels 6-10, these are encrypted for Police use.
Code 7: CAD/MDT Code
Using CAD/MDT Use all database searches appropriately. Never submit warrants or suspend a license when not deserved. Only use the panic button in life threatening situations. Never submit false/unnecessary charges. Only warn, cite, or arrest suspects when necessary. Always set yourself 10-7 when going 10-42. 1 Month = 1 Minute
Code 8: High Risk Situations Code
High Risk Protocol Supervisors are primarily in higher risk situations. Always follow training methods for 10-80, Active Shooter, & Hostage Situations. Never rush situations or intentionally go against procedure. Listen to your higher ranks at all times in major situations. Keep the Radio and dispatch up to date as frequently as possible.
Code 9: Subdivisions Code
Subdivision Protocol Subdivision policies will be enforced by the subdivision’s document. Follow all Police force procedures when active in a subdivision. Treat all subdivision equipment well, and use it correctly. Listen to higher ranks within each subdivision.
